A Word from Mrs. Koperno

Dear MAA Families,

I know we are all surprised by how fast September flew by!

We have certainly had a fantastic month here; it’s been incredibly busy, but the progress the students have made in just a few short weeks has been astounding! By now, students are settled into their new classrooms and routines, and are getting down to the business of learning. This year has so much in store – our entire team is excited to witness their growth!

Now that October is here, there is an end in sight for the 100-degree temperatures. The heat is not over yet, so remember to keep yourselves, and your children, hydrated! Parent-Teacher Conferences are September 30th – October 4th. Please make sure that you have a time scheduled to meet with your child’s teacher. Fall Break is scheduled for October 7th-11th.

October also brings Red Ribbon Week and Halloween. Information on these two events will be sent home in your child’s binder.

There have been a few close calls in the parking lot. We now have new parking lot instructions. Please review them, sign, and return with your child. We only need one per family. As always, please feel free to contact me regarding any questions or concerns.
