Dear Mesa Arts Academy Community,

We have entered the high-stakes testing period! Our fifth and eighth graders started their computerized AZSci assessment, while all students in grades three through eight will commence AASA Testing on April 6th. These weeks will be dedicated to testing,
and teachers will continue to rely on your support to ensure that students perform to the best of their abilities.

Please consult the calendar to confirm that your children attend school punctually on their testing days. It’s important to note that students who participate in make-up testing generally perform less effectively than those who test alongside their peers.

We are committed to fostering a positive atmosphere on campus during this testing period. Ensure that your children arrive at school on time each day, are well-rested, and maintain a positive mindset. They will also benefit from additional breaks throughout the day.

Continue to reassure your children of their preparedness for these assessments and express your confidence in their abilities to succeed.
