FAQ: Hybrid School Model – Half On/Half Off
1. What would in school feature? Will they include the specials in person? Or will they just be following what we are currently doing?
Students will be in the academic classes and some arts classes (PE, Music, SEL and Computers, Story Telling for 7th-8th) will be in person, but not all some would still need to be virtual.
2. Would families attend the same days?
Yes, families will attend on the same days. This will make it easier for families.
3. What does this mean for the kids who are there 5 days a week? Will they have different students in the classroom throughout the week or will they be with the kids they are currently with?
The students would be in their academic classroom for 2 days and utilize on site support for the other 3. They would have consistent students throughout the 2 days with their classroom teacher. The other 3 – it depends on how many families sign up for this. We do our best to keep the kids consistently together.
4. How will attendance be done?
On virtual days students will still need to check the attendance box by 9:00 am. For in person learning class begins at 7:30 am. Students arriving after 7:30 am are considered late on those days.
5. How will Drop off and Pick up work?
Drop off will begin at 7:15 am and end at 7:30 am students will go straight to the classroom. Students arriving after 7:30 am will be required to sign in. To do this parents will need to call the office and office staff will come out to check in your child. Temperatures will be taken at the car during drop off. Friday drop off for on site-support for those that need it will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Pick up will begin at 3:15 pm and end at 3:30 pm. Parents will stay in the car and let the staff member know who they are picking up. Staff will call into the classroom to have students sent out. Any student left after 3:45 pm must check into the club. If students are not allowed to go to the club then authorities will be notified.

2. ¿Asistiran las familias los mismos días?
Sí, las familias asistirán los mismos días. Esto hará que sea más fácil para las familias.
3. ¿Qué significa esto para los niños que están allí 5 días a la semana? ¿Tendrán diferentes estudiantes en el salón de clases durante la semana o estarán con los niños con los que están actualmente?
Los estudiantes estarían en su salón académico durante 2 días y utilizarían el apoyo en el sitio para los otros 3. Tendrían estudiantes consistentes durante los 2 días con su maestro del salón. Los otros 3, depende de cuántas familias se inscriban. Hacemos nuestro mejor esfuerzo para mantener a los niños constantemente juntos.
4. ¿Cómo se hará la asistencia?
En los días virtuales, los estudiantes deberán marcar la casilla de asistencia antes de las 9:00 am. Porque la clase de aprendizaje en persona comienza a las 7:30 am. Los estudiantes que lleguen después de las 7:30 am se consideran tarde en esos días.
5. ¿Cómo funcionará para dejar y recoger?
Para dejar comenzará a las 7:15 am y terminará a las 7:30 am. Los estudiantes irán directamente al salón de clases. Los estudiantes que lleguen después de las 7:30 am deberán registrarse. Para hacer esto, los padres deberán llamar a la oficina y el personal de la oficina saldrá para registrar a su hijo. Las temperaturas se tomarán en el automóvil antes de que los deje. Para dejar el viernes para apoyo en el sitio, para aquellos que lo necesiten comenzará a las 8:30 a.m.
Para recogerlos comenzará a las 3:15 pm y terminará a las 3:30 pm. Los padres permanecerán en el automóvil y le informarán al miembro del personal a quién van a recoger.
